How to Become a Chapter
1. Submit to the International the proposed name of your Chapter for approval.
2. Submit mailing and E-mail addresses for your chapter.
3. We will need a list of the Fire Departments your chapter covers. This information will enable the International to cross-reference our database and submit to you any registered members that may be in your jurisdiction.
4. You will have to form an Executive Board in compliance with the Articles of Association of this organization. You must have a minimum of 5 (five) members (E-board included) to start your organization.
5. All members of your Chapter must be registered with FOOLS International. You may print out the application form on our website and copy it freely. It will be the responsibility of the chapter to submit their member list (individual applications) with the $10.00 membership donation for each member to the International.
6. It is strongly recommended, but not mandatory, to have a website for your organization.
7. Agree to adopt and abide by the Articles of Association of this great Organization. These Articles of Association contain all the information you will need to start and maintain your
chapter.
8. Unfortunately as we continue to grow so does the cost to do business. We ask that you submit the above information, along with $75.00 to the International for approval. The $75.00 will cover the cost of processing your chapter, membership for your 5 (five) E-Board members, administration, etc.
