The F.O.O.L.S. International E-Board would like to honor and bid a fond farewell to long-serving member and former Vice President Bob Faas!  Bob served the F.O.O.L.S. International faithfully for several years, joining the board under then-President Richie Stack in 2014.  Bob has represented the East Coast on the E-Board, being our go-to brother staying up to date on the fire service events and news and always ensuring that the E-Board stayed informed.  Bob has had success as a veteran officer with Montgomery County Fire & Rescue and continues his career there as a Captain.  Bob is currently the Vice President of the Central Maryland F.O.O.L.S.  He is also a certified MFRI & WVPST Instructor as well as an instructor for Montgomery County Fire Rescue. He is an instructor with On Scene Training Associates and is currently wrapping up his Master’s Degree.  In addition to all of this, Bob’s family has grown as well, with a grandson he is very fond of; so clearly, we support and understand as Bob moves on from our organization to focus on other things.  Bob has been and continues to be an asset to the E-Board and a true friend!  On behalf of the entire E-Board, Regional Reps, and the Founding F.O.O.L.S., I wish him all the best and look forward to seeing him again at Convention 2024!
