The 2008 FOOLS Convention is past and we are left with memories of the Brotherhood, Pride, Training, Laughter with old friends and new, and another dose of how fortunate we are to be a part of such a great organization, the Fraternal Order of Leatherheads Society. We would like to thank all of the FOOLS in attendance. It would have not been a success without you! Over the last year the members of the convention committee worked very hard to bring you the best convention we had to offer. We would especially like to thank Ellen and Sippy again! The amount both of you did is unexplainable, we owe you guys! From the time the first cup of coffee was poured last fall, until the last beer of the convention, these members did a great job, thank you again!

However our job is not done yet. Over the next month we will be gathering information to put together a “Final Report”. The report will basically be a post convention analysis of what went well, what we could have improved upon, and what it took for the Southwest Washington and Puget Sound Chapters to host the convention. This information will be sent to the international and also available to all chapters that would like it.

From one FOOL to another we would like to thank you for an unforgettable convention! It was a great experience and most of all an honor to be apart of this year's convention. We can't wait to see all of you at the 2009 FOOLS Convention in New England!
