Snohomish County Fire District #7 (Washington) is testing for firefighter/EMT next month. This is a very progressive department with a large following of FOOLS members.  The training is aggressive and realistic (perspective of an active FOOL member).

It is looking as if our department will be getting a Safer Grant.  Should this happen, we will be hiring some 16 firefighters before the year ends.  Also, to this date, our department has received over 1 million dollars in federal grants for equipment and programs.  And, we're not a large department.  We mean business.
