Less than ONE MONTH until the 2010 FOOLS Convention

The 2010 annual FOOLS convention, will be held in Orlando, Florida (September 22nd – 26th). This year's hosting chapters are Hernando Hommteam FOOLS, Treasure Coast FOOLS & Central Florida FOOLS.

What an appropriate place to hold this event…where it all began, 15 years ago.

Point Orlando (http://www.pointeorlando.c om/) is within a very short walking distance from the hotel. Some of the local attractions are Disney World, Universal Studios, Sea World, MGM Studios & Epcot. What a great excuse for that family vacation, but who needs an excuse? We have made arrangements for our members to be able to stay at the hotel three days prior as well as three days post convention at the same daily convention rate. This will work out well for members who are planning that extended vacation. The room rates are $103 per night (plus tax) double occupancy. Kids under 17 stay FREE. There will be an additional charge of $20 (plus tax) if you have an extra person per room, per night. The hotel price is guaranteed until September 1st 2010.

Anyone interested in RVing for the convention:

Arrangements have been made with the KOA in Kissimmee (7 miles from the host hotel). Stay one night get one free, stay two nights and get two free, stay three nights and get three free, and so on. If you have a KOA Kamping card you are still entitled to an extra 10% discount. It's a great deal, especially for that extended stay to see the local attractions.

Back-In Sites (34' max) $58.99 (plus tax) per night
Pull through Sites (73' long average) $75.99 (plus tax) per night
