Cheap EDGE PROTECTION

By: Keats Keating/F.S.F. M.M.P.

This is for an internet user to submit a request for an event to be listed.

This is a not a new idea, but everyone is looking for budget help. Using old fire hose you can make edge protection. Medic shears were used to cut down 1.75" fire hose and then to cut open on the side. This hose failed during pressure testing and had been sitting around available for other use. Punch a hole through one end and secure in place using 3 or 4 mm utility line. If the edge protection gets damaged or lost there is no heartburn back at the station. Thanks to First State FOOLS BROTHER Bruce Galloway for bringing an old idea back.
